Server Rules

⚠ WARNING

Knowledge of the Rules is MANDATORY for every player! Saying "I didn't know it wasn't allowed" is not an excuse. Violations may result in punishment, kick, rollback, deletion, or permanent ban.

🌍 Global Conduct

  1. You are not allowed to speak any language other than English in global chat.
  2. Harassment, cursing, threatening, racism, or offensive behavior against anyone is forbidden. This also includes character names, pet names, and guild names.
  3. You must follow the instructions of GMs while in the game.
  4. Characters with forbidden names such as obscene, offensive, GM, GMA, EM, Admin, Mod, Moderator, or similar names will be deleted.
  5. You are not allowed to pretend to be a GM, staff member, or worker of the Silkroad company. Violation of this rule results in a permanent ban.
  6. It is not your duty to enforce DemonRoad rules. If you notice a violation, contact a GM. Harassing or threatening GMs is not allowed under any circumstances.
  7. If you insult any team member, including GMs, EMs, Moderators, or other staff members, you will receive an immediate ban.

🔐 Account Security

  1. Do NOT share your account information with anyone.
  2. We are not responsible for hacked accounts if you share your ID, password, or other account details.
  3. GMs will NEVER ask for your ID, password, or account information.
  4. If you give your account information to a GM impersonator or any player, it is not our responsibility if your account gets hacked.
  5. The official DemonRoad website is: https://playdemonroad.com. Do not visit fake websites imitating our official site.

🚫 Hacking, Exploits & Bug Abuse

  1. You are not allowed to interfere with, attack, exploit, or hack our servers or website.
  2. DemonRoad is not a perfect game and bugs may exist. If you find a bug, do not abuse it. Report it immediately so we can fix it as soon as possible.
  3. You are not allowed to abuse bugs for duplicating items, making money, gaining gear/items, or power leveling.
  4. If you are caught abusing bugs, your character may be rolled back, deleted, or your account may be banned.
  5. In case of rollback, we are not responsible for any lost items.
  6. Using any kind of speed bug is highly forbidden.
  7. Anyone who tries to cheat in any way in-game or on our website will be permanently banned without exceptions.
  8. If you notice someone cheating, report them to a GM. A screenshot and description are required.

💬 Chat Rules

  1. Do not openly insult, harass, or threaten any in-game members.
  2. Harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially, or ethnically offensive language is forbidden.
  3. Do not use PMs to lie, manipulate, or plan harassment against other players.
  4. Spamming any chat window, including PM, all chat, global chat, or staff messages, is forbidden.
  5. Global chat spam is not allowed, even for achievements. Spam means more than 5 messages in a row.
  6. You are not allowed to advertise any website, service, pornography, racist, or fascist content in-game. Violation may result in a ban.

💰 Donations, DP & Refunds

  1. There is no refund whatsoever on ordered DP.
  2. If you issue a refund or chargeback, your account will be banned.
  3. Virtual items and characters are property of DemonRoad.
  4. Exchanging in-game items, characters, services, or leveling for real-world money is strictly forbidden.

🛒 Trading Rules

  1. Nobody is obligated to trade with anyone.
  2. If you are scammed, hacked, or harmed during a trade, it is your own responsibility. We are not responsible for lost items.
  3. For large trades such as WTT + Gold or WTB/WTS 500B+, you may call a GM or EM to act as a middleman.
  4. We do not recommend using normal players as middlemen.
  5. You are not allowed to ask other players to drop loot for you.

🎟 Lottery & Trade Abuse

  1. Cheating with lottery tickets, such as earning them without a real trade, is forbidden.
  2. Stealing your own trade using your own other characters is forbidden.
  3. You are not allowed to run around in one or more places far from cities or trade routes, even if you are not AFK or using a bot.
  4. You are not allowed to use more than 1 trader per IP during a trade run.
  5. Each trade must be unique.
  6. You cannot be AFK during trade runs.
  7. Only allowed trade regions may be used.

🏰 Fortress War Rules

  1. Secondary guilds are not allowed in Fortress War.
  2. More than 1 character per user is not allowed in Fortress War.
  3. If you ignore this rule, you and all of your accounts may be permanently banned without warning.

🏛 Instance & Event Rules

  1. You are not allowed to enter with more than 1 character inside Job Temple, Shambhala Temples, CTF, Survival Arena, or Battle Arena.
  2. If GMs or EMs create separated events for European and Chinese characters, you must attend the correct event according to your character type.
  3. Chinese characters must go to the Chinese event side, and European characters must go to the European event side.
  4. You may be kicked or banned if you violate event rules.

👮 GM / Staff Limitations

  1. GMs are not allowed to interfere with personal or community problems between players.
  2. If personal or community problems happen, you may not demand GM help unless a rule violation is involved.
  3. When contacting GMs, you are not allowed to harass, threaten, or pressure them for any reason.

All rules above are created by the DemonRoad team. We reserve the right to modify, update, remove, or change these rules at any time. It is every player's responsibility to regularly check the rules and avoid violating them.
